Drums of Fire Intensive, Part 1

In-person Experiential Retreat for the First Two Intelligences of Fire

This intensive is dedicated to the first two Intelligences of Fire and builds on what you have learned about the Fire Element at the basic SoTO program on the Elements.

June 26-28, 2026 — Five Oaks Retreat Centre, Ontario, Canada


This retreat is for continuing students:

You may take this course if you've completed "At the Feet of the Source" or another qualifying basic SoTO course on the Elements.

This program is for those students who have already begun their SOTO learning journey and have completed at least the basic course on the Four Elements in person or online.

During our time together we will explore the first two Intelligences of Fire through drumming, sounding, imagination, creativity, and intuition with the intent of discovering, harmonizing and deepening our relationship with these powerful Building Blocks of Creation.

The first two Intelligences are about “beginnings”, our creative libido, and our capacity to give momentum, direction and sustainability to our purposes.

Guided journeys, simple movements, journaling and hands-on creativity (including SoulCollage® for those inclined to use this method) are the tools that will help you develop a personal relationship with these universal forces of Nature, anchor what you discover and give roots to your most poignant revelations. You might revisit your birth, reawaken the inspiration for a project, reclaim your motivation, rekindle your passion, and encourage creativity in your daily life. 

And you will learn how one can “see” through the lenses of Fire.

The Intelligences of Fire

Fire is often said to be the first one sprouting from the Undivided Source at the origin of the Universe. It sparked the primordial elements into motion. In time, from that explosive chaos rich with potentialities, the cosmic spheres came into being. Creation continued its evolution and what we see in ourselves and around us is the product of this long, yet continuous, journey of becoming. 

The main four archetypal Intelligences that pulsate within this Element trace the entire process of creation and of creativity in our daily lives. Fire is at the root of any creative impulse; indicates the direction creativity takes, its shape and
eventually its fulfillment.

Space is Limited

Enroll as soon as your intuition tells you that you need to be with us. If you have any questions about the prerequisites, please contact Mariabruna.

For this class, please bring:

For Our Sacred Space

- A small object to contribute to the decoration of our “Altaria” or center space

- One or two red or black candles better if in glass (optional, they are for you to take back home)

- Your handheld drum or rattle (optional)


For Learning Sessions

 - A journal, notebook, or writing pad, and a pen/pencil.

-No shoes are allowed in the meeting room, so please bring socks to keep your feet warm.

-A water bottle and your favorite snacks.


For Journeying

- A yoga mat if you wish to lay down during journeys

- A scarf or other soft cloth to cover your eyes when journeying- 

- Since we will be doing guided visualizations and drum journeys, a shawl, a pillow, and anything else that may make you more comfortable are recommended.


For Creativity

-  Any art materials you wish to use are welcome

- If you practice SoulCollage®, please bring your deck of SoulCollage® cards.

- If you wish to create more cards, bring your favorite images or a special magazine to cut and collage (optional)

- Favorite scissors/glue, and blank cards if you are using a size different than 5X8. 

- Additional SoulCollage® tools and art materials will be available.


For Exploring

- Comfortable walking shoes for the comfort of your feet
- Dress in layers: the forecast so far is sun (quite warm in the day)
- Bring a swimming suit, one never knows!

Once payment is complete, you will receive the link to the registration form to give us the necessary information to accommodate your needs.

Please note:
Your spot is reserved only after payment (or deposit if received by e-transfer).
Your spot will be cancelled if the full payment is not received a month before the starting date of the program unless otherwise negotiated in writing.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
If you find someone to take your place, you may transfer your registration (with written notice and approval).
In the unlikely event the retreat is canceled by the organizers, all payments will be refunded in full.

50% refund if canceled up to a month before the beginning of the program - May 25th
