with the ancestral past and the present.

In 2015, the first Burn No More gathering took place in California, inspired by indications Mariabruna received from one of the Messengers with whom she is in contact.

She was shown a series of rapid visions of people who had never harmed anyone, yet had been slandered, condemned, and burned at the stake. The experience was overwhelming in its sensory intensity. But its purpose was not to frighten: first, it revealed that their suffering was not yet complete, and that their spirits needed recognition in order to continue their mysterious evolutionary journey.

Second, it illuminated the contemporary reality of the epigenetic echoes of that suffering. Deep in the souls of many, traces of those experiences remain — both as victims and as perpetrators. The urgent invitation was to act, on an energetic and spiritual level, to cleanse and make space within the ancestral past and the present moment.

Why Burn No More today

Burn No More has taken various forms, in person and online, yet its essence has remained unchanged. At its core, it is an awakening — a conscious assumption of responsibility and a ritual gesture that mobilizes energy to heal the past and inspire us to ensure that such horrors are not repeated.

Unfortunately, in modern times, attacks against those who are not aligned, uncomfortable, or too ahead of their time have never ended.

Connecting with these ancestors can not only free and create space for them — and within ourselves — but also generate the energy to sustain this activism of consciousness that the world so deeply needs, and that will take practical form in each of our lives in its own way.

Why participate in Burn No More

The title, meaning “no more burning,” recalls the times of the witch hunts, when those condemned were burned at the stake along with so-called heretics and dissidents of all kinds — philosophical, religious, and political. This kind of persecution has not vanished from the world; even if in industrialized societies there are no longer pyres, only about 350 years have passed since the last one. In the collective unconscious, 350 years are nothing. We cannot afford to think that such an attitude toward dissent belongs to the past — quite the opposite.

For 2025, Monia and I have envisioned a gathering dedicated to an ancestor who, though accused and tried, succeeded in affirming her truth and innocence, thus escaping the stake.
At this moment in history, when defending one’s skills and human rights has become more vital than ever, we felt that her example offers the most fitting archetypal support — giving us courage and resolve to make our voices heard, and to stand together in the face of unfounded accusations or attacks.

A special time for the meeting

This passage in the cycle of time is dense with energy and meaning. It is known by many names: Samhain in Celtic tradition, Halloween in popular folklore, Ognissanti in Italy, Día de los Muertos in Mexico. Each of these celebrations carries the sense that the veil between the visible and the invisible grows thin — that our world and that of our ancestors draw closer to one another.
Fire and candlelight rekindle the flame of memory, while offerings of flowers, food, and prayers carry our thoughts and intentions back through the generations.

It is an auspicious time to enter into dialogue with those who came before us — to receive their wisdom and to offer our gratitude.

It is a sacred time for rituals: to remember, to renew, and to honor the lineage of love, resilience, and guidance that continues to shape us.
If this gathering calls to you, we will be glad to welcome you — to share with you a moment that is at once informative, ritual, and creative.
